CfD: ME launches the first auctions, the thresholds are 78 euro for solar and 82 for wind

The Ministry of Energy in Romania launches the first auctions for green energy subsidy scheme through Contracts for Difference (CfD). The thresholds are set at 78 euro/MWh for solar projects and 82 euro/MWh for wind projects. Investors are attracted to the benchmark prices and guaranteed fixed prices for electricity sale over a 15-year period.
