Chaberton, Pivot start up community, commercial solar mix in Maryland

Chaberton Energy and Pivot Energy have initiated partial operation of 'Project Catherine', a 4.3-MWdc solar farm in Howard County, Maryland. This project combines community and commercial solar solutions spanning three business models on a 19-acre site owned by St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church. It offers capacity to community solar subscribers, provides a dedicated portion to Loyola University Maryland under a PPA, and delivers power directly to St. Mary Church for its consumption, signaling acquisition benefits from Energy Capital Partners.
