China’s January-April solar installations hit 48.31 GW

China's NEA reported a cumulative installed PV capacity of approximately 380 GW by the end of April 2023. The increase in PV capacity was attributed to delayed projects from 2022 and lower module prices. China is predicted to add between 95 GW and 120 GW of new PV installations this year. Research outfits like S&P and BloombergBNEF forecast different numbers for the Chinese PV market in 2023.
