China’s largest electrochemical storage facility achieves grid connection

Haixi New Energy Co., a subsidiary of China Huadian Group, has completed the Togdjog Shared Energy Storage Station project in Delingha, Qinghai province, China. It features a 270 MW power output and 1,080 MWh total storage capacity using lithium iron phosphate batteries. A zinc-bromine flow battery system was also installed. The station aims to test zinc-bromine battery performance in high-altitude areas.
