China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) updated electricity market operation rules, effective from July 1. The rules cover a wider range of participants including grid companies, energy storage firms, and virtual power plants. The transaction categories now include medium- and long-term trading, spot trading, and power auxiliary service trading.
