China Three Gorges is considering a takeover bid for Spanish clean energy producer Saeta Yield SA, a company in Brookfield Asset Management's portfolio. To avoid regulatory hurdles, they may seek a partner. Saeta has clean energy assets in Spain and Portugal including wind, solar PV, and solar thermal power plants.
