China's cumulative installed solar capacity reached 750 GW by August 2024. Tongwei signed a technology cooperation contract with Scenergy in Chengdu, Sichuan province. JinkoSolar delivered a liquid-cooled energy storage system for a project with Sunrev in Jiangsu. Solargiga Energy Holdings recorded a loss for the first half of 2024 due to declining module prices and intense competition.
