The Competition Council is analyzing Public Power Corporation SA's takeover of companies owning the Fântânele-Cogealac wind farm from CEZ in Romania, along with other projects. Public Power Corporation SA is acquiring projects totaling 629 MW from various companies. The transaction involves assets previously owned by CEZ and valued at around 700 million euros. The PPC Group operates in Greece, Romania, and North Macedonia, producing, supplying, and distributing electricity, natural gas, and complementary services.
