Corio signs MOU with Brazilian shipyard

Corio Generation and EBR signed a memorandum of understanding to explore offshore wind development off Brazil's south coast. EBR's infrastructure near Rio Grande port may support deployment of windfarms in the south of Brazil. Corio aims to develop five offshore windfarms in Brazil with up to 6GW capacity. EBR CEO highlighted synergy between offshore wind projects and the oil and gas industry, emphasizing the potential for offshore wind in the south of Brazil.
