Corio signs NOU with Brazilian shipyard

Corio Generation and EBR signed a memorandum of understanding to explore offshore wind development off Brazil's south coast. The MOU aims to support the deployment of 1200MW Cassino Offshore Wind and 1200MW Rio Grande Offshore Wind projects. Corio plans to develop five offshore windfarms with up to 6GW capacity in Brazil. EBR CEO, Wataru Nosaka, highlighted the synergy between offshore wind projects and the oil and gas industry.
