Croatia launches 450MW solar PV auction

Croatia has launched a new renewables auction with 450MW of solar PV capacity tendered by the Croatian Energy Market Operator (HROTE). The auction aims to promote the production of electricity from renewable energy sources. State aid will be awarded by the end of 2024. The total capacity is divided into two categories, with specific bidding prices set. Winning bids will receive a maximum of €30 million for each project, providing a boost to Croatia's solar PV capacity.
