Croatia launches 450MW solar PV auction

Croatia has launched a new renewables auction for 450MW of solar PV capacity to promote electricity production from renewable sources. The auction is open until June 27, 2024, organized by the Croatian Energy Market Operator (HROTE). The program aims to boost the country's solar PV capacity, with a goal of reaching 5.7GW by 2030, significantly higher than the NECP forecast of 1GW.
