CubicPV secures $103 million of support for US wafer manufacturing

CubicPV, a US-based company, has secured over $100 million in equity funding to support its US factory plans and tandem solar product roadmap. The investment comes from SCG Cleanergy, Hunt Energy Enterprises, and Breakthrough Energy Ventures. The company aims to establish 10 GW of mono wafer manufacturing capacity in the US, creating 1,500 new jobs and enhancing the domestic supply chain. CubicPV is making progress in site selection, engineering, and financing for the new factory.
