Data centers to start ‘migrating’ to Eastern Europe

Existing buildings in Eastern Europe will be refurbished to become more energy efficient and strengthen electrical circuits. Data centers are migrating to Eastern Europe due to the scarcity of energy in Western cities. Gabriel Tache, the Country Sales Manager of Eaton Romania, highlighted this trend at the Energy Strategy Summit 2024 organized by Energynomics. Operators of data centers are interested in procuring large quantities of green energy. Eaton is focused on digital transformation and involved in data center management, with significant financial performance in 2021.
