Developer GEI launches solar-plus-storage project in Zambia

A 60MWp/20MWh solar-plus-storage project by Zambian developer GEI Power and Turkish energy technology firm YEO is planned in Zambia to mitigate power shortages. The project will be located in the southern Zambian district of Choma and executed through a special purpose vehicle, Cooma Solar Power Plant Limited.
