DOE publishes draft roadmap and asks for feedback on grid connections

The US Department of Energy (DOE) has published a draft roadmap to reform grid connection processes for distributed renewable energy sources, focusing on making the grid more resilient and promoting sustainable energy. The roadmap includes recommendations for regulators, utilities, and manufacturers to address grid challenges and accelerate the integration of clean energy sources. Jeff Marootian, from the DOE, highlighted the importance of connecting distributed energy resources to improve grid reliability and reduce energy costs across America.
