Dominion Energy is acquiring the CVOW-South offshore wind lease from Avangrid for $160m. The project, with a capacity of 800MW, aims to meet growing electric demand in Virginia. Virginia Electric and Power Company, a Dominion Energy subsidiary, is also constructing the 2.6GW CVOW offshore wind project.
