Renewable energy company DRI acquired a 126 MW solar farm project in Văcărești, Romania, doubling its operational portfolio. The estimated annual production is set to supply 50,000 Romanian households, saving 48,600 tons of carbon emissions per year. The company aims to reach 1 GW in Romania by 2028 and sees the country as a hub for renewable energy. DRI is also active in Croatia, Poland, and Italy.
