EBRD lending Albania’s KESH 30 mln euro for solar park project

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is set to provide a 30 million euro loan to Albania's state-owned energy corporation KESH for developing a 50 MWp solar photovoltaic park in Belsh. This park aims to diversify KESH's predominantly hydro-reliant energy sources. The total investment for the project amounts to 40 million euros, with additional funding from the Western Balkans Investment Framework and grants from Austrian government funds.
