EDPR signs contract with Ontario IESO for 75-MW BESS project

Portuguese renewables company EDP Renovaveis SA (ELI:EDPR) signed a 20-year LT1 agreement in Canada for the 75-MW/300-MWh Edgeware battery energy storage system. The facility in St Thomas, Ontario, will sell energy to the Ontario IESO, expected to go online in 2027.
