Electric mobility is the mobility of the future; it needs subsidies and simplification of legislation

Electric mobility is deemed as the future mode of transportation, requiring subsidies and legislative simplifications to pave the way for its widespread adoption. Christian Macedonschi, the president of the Association for Electric Mobility (AME), advocates for clearer policies and legislation to raise awareness of electric cars. The association aims to promote sustainable electric mobility in Romania by collaborating closely with relevant authorities at national and European levels. Encouraging the growth of the electric vehicle industry through subsidies for businesses and the development of a robust charging infrastructure using green energy are among the key initiatives. Macedonschi emphasizes the need for financial support and subsidy projects to facilitate the transition from hybrid to full electric vehicles. He also highlights the importance of simplified legislation to address bottlenecks in the national legislation, particularly concerning the obligation to equip electric car charging equipment with electronic fiscal cash registers.
