Electrica acquires 77.5-MW solar project in Romania

Electrica, a Romanian utility company, has acquired a ready-to-build solar project in Romania with an authorised capacity of 77.525 MW. The project is developed by Foton Power Energy near Oradea. The acquisition is part of Electrica's strategy to expand renewable energy production. In addition to the Bihor 1 project, Electrica also purchased a 57-MW solar project in Doba.
