Energiequelle and Alterric commission new Saxony turbines

Energiequelle has commissioned three Enercon turbines in Mittelherwigsdorf, Saxony with a repowering project involving Alterric. The project involved replacing three out of eight existing turbines with three 160m tall 4.2MW E-138 turbines, resulting in a six-fold increase in electricity production at the sites. Site manager Simon Frauendorf mentioned challenges during the construction process.
