Energiequelle and Alterric commission new Saxony turbines

Energiequelle commissioned three Enercon turbines in Mittelherwigsdorf, Saxony, as part of a repowering project with Alterric. The repowering involved replacing three older turbines with three new 160m tall 4.2MW E-138 turbines, leading to a six-fold increase in electricity production at the three sites. Site manager Simon Frauendorf mentioned challenges during the construction due to an unplanned construction site on the main road.
