Energiequelle, Enertrag set up JV to transform mining region in Germany

German renewable energy firms Enertrag SE and Energiequelle GmbH have established a joint company, Gruenstrom Lausitz GmbH, to work on the energy transformation project in Lusatia. They will develop renewable facilities in the Schwarze Pumpe industrial park, focusing on wind and solar facilities. The Reference Power Plant Lusatia project aims to showcase how renewable energy and modern technologies can replace traditional fossil fuel power plants, with advanced development in the Spremberg wind farm and green hydrogen production.
