The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has adopted new rules for energy permits. Energy permits are not required for facilities with a capacity lower than 1 MW, except for hydropower projects. The rulebook covers criteria for issuing energy permits, application content, permit issuance procedure, and register management. The rulebook also addresses the reconstruction of existing solar power plants. The Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry oversees the implementation of the rulebook, which came into effect on July 6. The article discusses the requirements for hydropower plants, transferability of energy permits, and decision-making based on procedure facts.
