Energy security will increase with new offshore capacity

Romania has a satisfactory level of energy security with production capacities including future offshore wind and gas units. The country needs efficient gas and electricity connections to ensure energy security. Legislation has been enacted for allocating capacity through auctions to develop networks and encourage battery energy storage. Investments in storage sector are increasing to create a grid balance.
