Energy storage firm Invinity raises EUR 67m to fund growth

Invinity Energy Systems plc has raised GBP 57.38 million through a share offering for growth investments. They plan to acquire minority stakes in long-duration energy storage projects and advance their vanadium flow battery technology. The company was formed in April 2020 after the merger of redT energy plc and Avalon Battery Corporation. Invinity has 75 MWh of systems deployed across 15 countries.
