Engie breaks ground on 200MW Belgian battery

The groundbreaking ceremony for a new 200MW battery park at Engie site in Vilvoorde, Belgium was attended by Mayor Hans Bonte. The park will store 800 MWh of power and feeds into the grid for 4 hours. Engie plans to install 10GW of battery storage worldwide by 2030.
