Engie Romania completes purchase of 80 MW wind park

Engie Romania, part of Engie, acquired an 80 MW wind park from EnerCap Group in Romania's southeastern commune of Chirnogeni. The acquisition doubled Engie Romania's wind energy generation capacity to 202 MW. Engie aims to reach 1,000 MW of renewable energy by 2030. Engie Group operates in natural gas, electricity, and energy services sectors globally.
