Estonia attracts no bids in auction for 3rd offshore wind area

Estonia’s Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority announced that no bids were submitted in the auction for the third area designated for the construction of a wind farm in the Baltic Sea. Two companies, Deep Wind Offshore AS and OU Utilitas Wind, qualified to participate but neither submitted an offer. Deep Wind Offshore won auctions for Saare 2.1 and Saare 2.2 to build offshore wind capacities.
