Europe remains dependent on gas imports in a market with volatile prices

Europe remains heavily dependent on energy imports, with a significant decrease in dependence on energy imports from Russia but not completely eliminated. Despite a decrease in dependence on gas imports from Russia, overall dependence on gas imports has increased. Romania is the 4th least dependent country in the EU and least dependent on imported gas.
