Europe witnessed a significant increase in annual battery storage deployments in 2023 according to SolarPower Europe's analysis. However, the pace of adoption is still slower than necessary. SolarPower Europe emphasized the importance of adopting a comprehensive energy storage strategy and targeting a 200GW deployment by 2030 in the European Union (EU) to fully realize solar PV growth potential.
