European Energy gets grid approvals for 500 MW of Romanian projects

European Energy A/S has obtained grid connection approvals for around 500 MW of solar and wind projects in Romania. The company sees Romania as a promising market and is working on developing hybrid projects combining solar, wind, and battery storage. Ioannis Kalapodas, head of European Energy’s Romania office, highlighted the potential of the upcoming auction for Contract for Difference in unlocking more renewable energy projects in Romania.
