Danish renewables developer-operator Eurowind Energy has been cleared to proceed with its plan to build a 49.5-MW wind farm in Ulkaer Mose in the Danish peninsula of Jutland. The project has been given the go-ahead by the Environment and Food Board of Appeal. The Ulkaer Mose site will have 11 turbines, each with a height of 150 metres. Once operational, the facility will produce enough electricity to power around 31,500 homes annually. Eurowind Energy founded in 2006, develops, constructs, and operates renewable energy sites including wind, solar, hydrogen, biogas, power-to-heat, and battery storage. They own and operate a portfolio of 1.1 GW of solar and wind parks across Europe.
