Eurowind to build 66 MW wind farm in Romania

Danish renewable energy company Eurowind Energy has secured a construction permit for a 66 MW wind farm in Frumusita, Romania. The wind park will have eleven wind turbines and is expected to be operational by the end of 2025, supplying green energy to around 62,000 households. Eurowind Energy's projects in Romania will cover 450 MW by 2025. The company has received a 65.3 million euro credit facility from Banca Comerciala Romana for a wind farm in Pecineaga, Romania. Eurowind Energy, part of the Eurowind Group, entered the Romanian market in 2011. Erste Group is involved in financing Eurowind Energy's projects.
