Eversource wraps up New England grid upgrade

Eversource has completed Phase 1 of the Cape Cod Solution Transmission Program, a transmission project in New England to enhance resiliency and reliability of the system for accommodating more offshore wind energy. The transmission project supports the infrastructure needed to connect offshore wind projects to the grid, improving customer reliability, resilience to storms, meeting decarbonisation goals, and supporting the electrification of transportation and heating sectors.
