EVLO unveils lithium iron phosphate battery for utility-scale applications

EVLO Energy Storage, a unit of Canadian utility Hydro-Quebec, has launched EVLOFLEX, a utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) based on its lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry. The system offers different versions and configurable energy options, showcasing stability and safety in its battery chemistry. EVLOFLEX can be connected to both 50Hz and 60Hz networks and can support various energy applications while meeting seismic event requirements.
