Finnish wind farm enters operation

Fortum and Helen Oy completed a 380MW wind farm in Finland at the Pjelax site, with 56 turbines. Fortum owns 60% while Helen owns 40% of the wind farm. The wind farm construction involved over 400 landowners, local business owners, and officials. Helen will purchase 50% of electricity production. Significant contributions were made by Suvic Oy, Simons Infra Oy, Fingrid, and Nordex.
