A group of researchers at the University of Science and Technology of China has fabricated a tandem solar cell using perovskite absorber and antimony selenide as bottom cell material. The tandem cell achieved a power conversion efficiency of 20.58%, with the top cell reaching 17.88% efficiency and the bottom cell 7.85%. Antimony selenide showed promise as a suitable bottom cell material, although it is not widely used in tandem solar cells.
