First Nations, Metis join Enbridge on 200-MW wind project in Canada

Enbridge Inc has partnered with First Nation communities and Metis people in Canada to develop a 200-MW wind farm project in Saskatchewan. The project, Seven Stars Energy, will involve equity ownership for First Nations and Metis communities. The development is supported by loan guarantees from SIIFC and aims to secure a PPA with SaskPower for operation in 2027.
