Avangrid Inc, a US-based unit of Spanish utility Iberdrola SA, completed the installation of the “golden row” of panels at its Powell Creek solar project in Ohio. The plant will have a DC capacity of 202 MW and house about 300,000 panels, producing electricity for 30,000 households annually. This is Avangrid’s second renewable power project in Ohio, following the Blue Creek wind farm. The construction phase began in 2023.
