First Solar bags 547MW module order

First Solar has signed a supply agreement with Birch Creek Energy to provide 547MW of thin-film solar modules for deployment across the US. Birch Creek Energy plans to strengthen its domestic content strategy through this partnership. Additionally, First Solar is expanding its production capacity and R&D facilities in Ohio, Alabama, and Louisiana, with new sites expected by 2025. Birch Creek Energy has developed significant utility-scale solar and storage projects since 2019.
