First Vestas V162-7.2MW powers up

The first customer-owned EnVentus V162 high capacity wind turbine has produced its first kWh at Bürgerwindpark Janneby eG in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. The 7.2MW turbine is the first Vestas turbine with a side compartment, offering flexibility in transportation and taking advantage of industrial standards with its modular nacelle design.
