Fluence starts US production of battery modules

Fluence Energy Inc has started domestic production of battery modules in Utah, incorporating battery cells from Tennessee, to benefit from the Inflation Reduction Act's domestic content bonus tax credit. The company aims to provide energy storage solutions that meet customers' needs, reduce supply chain risks, and support US energy independence. Fluence also announced a partnership with Excelsior Energy Capital to deploy domestically manufactured battery systems for energy storage projects across the US.
