Formosa 4 site survey wraps up

Scottish subsea specialist Sulmara has completed a site characterisation survey for the Formosa 4 offshore wind project off Taiwan. Synera Renewable Energy’s site used Sulmara’s multi-platform approach, which ran sensors to meet the specified data coverage and data quality requirements. The Formosa 4 offshore wind project, jointly developed by Synera Renewable Energy and its local partners, is a large-scale renewable energy project located approximately 19km off the coast of Tongxiao Township, Miaoli County in north-west Taiwan. Sulmara, formed in 2019 and employing more than 200 people worldwide, has grown rapidly to become an international subsea services provider with offices across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
