FRV enters Finnish market with 600MW solar PV portfolio

Renewable energy company FRV is entering the Finnish market to develop 600MW of solar PV projects, aiming to reach 'ready to build' status between 2024 and 2026. The Finnish government plans to increase installed solar PV capacity to 2.8GW by 2030, with trade association SolarPower Europe predicting over 10GW by the end of the decade. FRV's managing director for Europe, Andrea Fontana, sees Finland as a promising market for renewable energy.
