FTC Solar introduces automated hail stow for solar tackers

Hail can cause significant damage to solar installations, with a solution introduced by FTC Solar in collaboration with VDE Americas. This Automated Hail Stow Solution uses meteorological data to position solar modules to minimize hail and wind impact. The software integrates with Sunops to improve solar asset performance.
