FTC Solar launches autonomous hail stow programme

FTC Solar has launched the Automated Hail Stow Solution in collaboration with VDE Americas and SUNOPS platform to protect PV modules from hail damage. The solution uses meteorological data to assess hail risks and allows customization of stowing modules. The solar industry faces increasing awareness of hail damage risks, as highlighted by the Fighting Jays incident in Texas.
