GCL-SI unveils perovskite solar panel with 16.02% efficiency

GCL System Integration, the PV panel unit of GCL Group, introduced a perovskite solar module with a power conversion efficiency of 16.02% at the SNEC trade show in Shanghai. The company aims to enhance the panel's efficiency to over 18%. The module uses encapsulant film based on polyolefin elastomer and 3.2 mm semi-tempered glass, with operation under various temperatures. GCL-SI's perovskite business includes a 10 MW production line in Suzhou since 2019 and plans for scaling to 1 GW production.
